Have you considered renting Mark out? I bet there's lots of ladies who would pay hard cash for some of his baking! Those shortbreads look lovely.
You can say that again, Kia. Chapeau to your man for some good-looking goodies. I am way partial to the short bread innit. The thistle patterns enhance its appearance and I may have to stuff a slice of bread in my mouth to stop drooling. Yeah, smashing display. Your man can cook. Cooking does't get any bettah than this!
Gosh Mark is really something special isn't he? He buys you flowers and material (which is beautiful by the way) and he BAKES!! I don't suppose he fancies a holiday in Scotland does he? I promise not to work him too hard if he does.
Wow ! When is snack time ? Is that shortbread like a cake? I have been looking for a good shortbread cookie recipe
Netty, they were delicious. In case you were wondering we didn't eat them all at once-we kept some in the freezer for a while and we did share the shortbread with friends who called in Jane, no I haven't Barb, they were and I definitely am a lucky girl. Sjoerd,I think Mark finds it relaxing to bake which was important for him when I was most in need of looking after. It wasn't an easy time for him either. Eileen, I'll ask him
Your man is not only thoughtful but an excellent cook also. Delicious looking cakes. It made me hungry just looking at them.
Oh yummy! Now where is my cup of coffee and a slice to two of those delicious looks deserts. Do you make house calls?
