Between Glenda and I you will see everything we did. Here are some more enactment photos. Cannon fire and smoke. The smoke was thick and smelly. The smoke was very thick at times and I am glad I was on the side lines and not out in it. See the fire come out of those old guns when they fire them. These are cavalry pictures. The rebels had more horses than the union. firing on the run checking the dead We thought the cavalry was going to run right over this guy but they missed him. He got even by sitting up and shooting at them after they passed and then dying again. The battle is over, the dead have been taken away and as with any war, very little remains. dooley
Thanks for sharing that. Hubby enjoyed it so much. We do go to one . He wants to go to the Gettysburg one sometime. We visited Gettysburg, but not the re inaction.. LOL Glad your having fun.. b
Thanks for posting, dooley. I've always wanted to see a reenactment, but they're being held a bit too far away for me.
Great Pictures...I was a little worried about that guy in the way on the ground with the horses coming so I was glad you mentioned him.. That looks like it would be a lot of fun.
I wouldn't lay on the ground pretending to be dead with all those horses coming at me, no way. Great pictures dooley, I would have enjoyed seeing that.
