For those of you who wanted more photos of our little farm, I put more on the original posting (Our Little Farm--Then and Now). I put them there because you can see how some things have changed, and how the flower beds have filled in.

And you can also see how the hens have filled out!

Those hens are still looking good. The transformation of your farm is so impressive, MG. You guys have done good work there.

Now I know why did the chicken cross the road - It was because the chicken wanted to get to Marlingardener's farm!
    :-D

Well you're certainly taking good care of those hens aren't you? They look great!!
Do you need a helper on your farm by any chance? There's a Scot here that would willingly leave all this snow behind to come over. ;)

I'm pretty impressed by it all too, MG. I like the chickens. I know nothing about chickens, but they certainly are pretty ladies and look pretty happy and curious about you and your camera.

Eileen, YES! Come on over! We can always use help, especially from an experienced gardener. I'll even act as translator so you can understand us Texans--it's the drawl, y'all.
S-H, we actually had chickens from the farm across the road come to associate with our hens. All were free-ranging, and the visiting hens tried to follow my girls into their coop at night. I think they wanted to watch the big screen TV, or perhaps they liked the king-size bed!
I'll read the complimentary remarks to the ladies when they get up. How bad is it when the farmer is up before the chickens?
