August is normally our driest month of the year. But this week we have gotten 2 1/4 inches of rain in 3 days. That's the whole months worth. This summer has been wetter than usual. I have hardly used any water from the rain barrels. What little I have used, it's rained a day or two later filling them right back up!

We had a really wet summer too, but August is starting out really hot and dry here.

    The same here

It's exactly the same here. We've gotten so much rain. Just the other night it rained so heavily that I was afraid if some of our windows would break. I guess it's just because I'm a concerned mother and housewife, but it really rained heavily.

But yes, the advantage is that we don't need to worry so much about how much water the garden gets as we normally do. Everything is green. The plants are not withered, which is wonderful. :)

    Best,
    Anette

We had a wet spring here in the Mid-Atlantic region, but now we are getting dry. When you walk across grass that hasn't been watered, it crunches. Send some of your rain this way.
