I looked outside tonight and the fog was starting to settle in the soybean field behind the house. I tried taking fog pictures - didn't turn out well. By then the sun was setting so I snapped these - I thought they were quite pretty with the sun setting and the fog settling in at the same time.

It looks beautiful, so soft and peach and coral. I would have been running for the camera too.

Polly you can probably guess what I'm going to ask can't you? :-D Could I possibly pinch those piccies please? They are so full of atmosphere with the fog lying just above ground level. It adds another dimension to the already lovely sunsets and landscape.

I agree they look fantastic Polly, always liked fog. Thanks for thinking of us and running for your camera.

Eileen, can I ask something? What do you do with all of the photos? Maybe you should change your title to "Sunset Pincher" :D

Frank I save all the sunset/sunrise piccies and reduce them all to the same size. In time, when I have enough (approx 5,000), I intend to make them into one large sunrise/sunset mural. It takes years sometimes to complete a project like this but it's well worth it in the end.

So please, everybody feel free to post as many pics as you like and if you allow me too I will pinch them for my collection. :D

Thank you all for the compliments. ANd Eileen of course you can have these and any future ones that I post. I am usually thinking of you when I take them and wondering if they are different from ones you already have.

Every single photograph I have is different from all the rest Polly although the colours may be similar. Even shots taken just minutes apart have slight differences depending on wind, angle cloud conditions etc so the more I have the better. :D

Glenda I made a slight mistake I meant to say 500 not 5000!! Gosh I'd be dead and buried before I could collect that many eh? :D :D I have around 100 so far. :-D
