While planning my garden this year I was looking at varieties of morning glory seeds and am having some trouble finding the kind I've been searching for. When I was very young my mother grew really vibrant blue and white morning glories on the front porch. I looked up heavenly blue and they do not look how I remember so I googled blue and white morning glories and still found nothing. The heavenly blue are similar in pattern but the blue color in my memory was much richer. I'll see if I can find some photos from my childhood house. Maybe I'm just being stubborn, but I thought it was worth asking.
Are you looking for one Morning Glory that is blue nad white or are you looking for Blue ones and White ones? Ipomoea tricolor (Morning Glory) is a brighter blue. Ipomoea purpurea 'Grandpa Ott' (Morning Glory) will sometimes look more blue than purple in the sunlight.
I talked to my mother and apparently they were a hybrid that a local greenhouse was experimenting with, not sure of the name.
