I took some pictures of the morning glory vines reaching up to the roof. Soon, I will need one of Jack's beanstalks for them. I could use a golden goose. These were planted on March 6th. I was hoping you could see the flowers at the bottom but I guess it's either the whole vine or the flowers until they bloom farther up the vine. dooley
Those Morning Glories are really performing for you, aren't they? That is going to be supurb this siummer.
What are you feeding those vines Dooley? Once they reach the top, you won't be able to see out of the porch and you'll need lights.
Chance is already unhappy with them blocking her view. Good thing they are on the outside of the fence. She still tries to push them with her nose. Now she goes to look out the ends of the porch. Wait until the pole beans and cucumbers block the ends. She will be totally unhappy with us. But, it will make a shady place to sit in the summer evenings. We go out after supper and just sit. We can still see enough to watch the world go past. When we came home from town today, Glenda's peacocks were in the middle of the circle garden, digging away. dr is going to get them!! dooley
I really love those morning glories. They're doing so good for you. I can only hope mine do as well. I'm going to mix them with nasturiums and moon flowers.
Dooley you forgot they are your peacocks I gave them to ya'll when ya'll moved there as a house warming gift . :-? I thought it was time for someone else to enjoy them
It looks like they're going to be really tall. What would happen if you didn't have the wires for them to climb?
