Ok! I wasn't sure where to put this as it pertains to both flower and veggies! Just what is your most favorite gardening chore? And why were at it what's your least favorite? My favorite is reaping the veggies my least is weeding.

My most favourite one is to make new borders. :D I'm not particularly fond of weeding, but I think my least favourite chore is to cut and prune hedges, bushes and trees.

I'm one of these strange people who doesn't mind weeding so my least favourite task is clearing out the shed!! My favourite task is planting up and creating new planting areas. :stew1:

    This is a hardy!

Most fave on the allotment would be harvesting.
Least fave on the allotment would be weeding (altho it is satisfying)

Most fave in the garden would be planting new things and creating the new borders.

Least fave in the garden would be cutting the grass and edging the lawn, altho again, satisfying.

popping dandelions out of the ground and feeding them to my bunnies & chickens. Very satisfying all around. Goodness knows there's a steady supply...

Gosh so many chores. SO many choices.

I love gardening, especially the planting part and watching plants grow and flourish and then one gets that oh so proud feeling when either cutting flowers or harvesting and sharing the harvest.

The chores I do not particularly like is dethatching, scarrifying my lawn. I only keep a small section for the dogs to play about 5m x 6m and it usually takes me about three weeks, sometimes more to see to the lawn.

Favorite is planting and watching them grow.
Least favorite is trying to keep critters from taking over. Moles, voles, squirrels and woodchucks. It's gotten worst with new houses being built behind me. I use to live in the country:(

Fave chore is cleaning up after spring and seeing all the new growth! And I love the planning- playing around with ideas, getting new ideas (got an awsome idea for an aboveground pond from monsterfishkeepers.com!)...

Least fave is preparing beds...I want a cultivator!

Favorite chore: Cleaning out a flowerbed of weeds then watching for survivors. They're easier to see and much easier to pull.

I love mowing. Always have. I used to trade off my "in-house" chores with my brothers for their mowing duties. But recently, my fav is creating a new flower bed. It's so much fun transforming an "empty" space.

My favorite is sherlock-holming (closely watching, like with a magnifying glass) what comes up in spring... especially if I know I got new stuff I haven't had, and wondering if it's made it through winter.

I kinda also enjoy weeding. I always have a bucket to throw them in and then feed the animals (chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, ...) WE HAVE THEM!

I kinda hate removing dead stuff... and re-using pots/soil from seed failures :(
