and she's staying with us for the time being. She's got a tumor in her large intestine. The doc suspects cancer, but we won't know until she's had her surgery. She's gotten very weak over the last three weeks and I don't know if I'll be able to keep her here until her surgery. I feel it's a big responsibility. She won't eat much and sleeps a lot and we're afraid to leave her alone in the house for more than a couple of hours. The doc said they'll try to hurry things along. Healing vibes will be appreciated. She worries about her garden of course, but I'm afraid it will have to sit there unattended for a while longer. I'm thinking about hiring someone to do the tidying-up now that spring's finally arrived. I haven't gotten round to tidying my own garden with things the way they are at the moment, and there's the horses to mind too. So if you don't see me for a while, this is the reason. Stay safe stewbies!
Thank you. I feel so helpless, you know? It's hard to see her so weak and there's nothing we can do about it.
Droopy, your mother is fortunate to have you--you are not helpless, you are helping her more than you can know. I'll pray everything goes well for her, and for you
Droopy I sincerely hope that the doctor can hurry things up for your mum and that they'll soon have her fit enough to undergo the surgery so that the tumour can be removed completely. Take care of yourself at this worrying time and know that we're all here wishing your mum the very best.
Sending prayers your way. I hope they will be able to hurry things along. Please take care of yourself, too. dooley
Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts and good wishes. She's not up yet today, but she was a bit perkier yesterday evening.
