and I know I am early, but in case I can't get on the computer as we have a full compliment of children here this weekend, I would like to wish all of you mums and step mums, a very happy Mothering Sunday, wherever you are. I hope the sunshines for us all. I plan to spend the day in the garden, sowing seeds, planting cuttings I rooted in the autumn and have been overwintering in pots, and splitting a few perennials that are getting far to big for their boots. I also hope to spark up the old BBQ and fling a chook on it to have with jacket spuds and salad. Have a great day everyone.
Happy Mothers Day EJ!!! I'm hoping for some nice warm weather on Sunday for Mothers Day. I hope I can get outside and clear up the mess the snow has left my garden in. If the kids drop by then they might find themselves out there giving me a helping hand.
Happy Mothering Sunday to you too. It isn't an official 'Hallmark' holiday so it isn't celebrated over here. Grilled chicken, baked potatoes and salad sounds like a good meal to me. Very few dishes to clean up and easy for other family members to prepare for you....winner all the way around.
You have an ambitious weekend planned, EJ. I hope the weather co-operates for you. I have outdoor plans here as well. Do take some pics won't you, of your lottie activities this weekend. Happy mum's day...our's is in May.
Happy Mother's Day to those who celebrate! We had ours a couple of week-ends ago and I got a lovely foot bath and a nice flower bouquet.
