A few mini/dwarf irises. I bought a box of these yellow minis yesterday at an Amish yard sale. $3.00. This is usually the last of my daffodils to bloom. It's called "Twins" (two or three blooms per stem.) This lilac is at least 10 or 12 years old. The last two years the buds were killed by late frosts. A friend I worked with gave it to me as a small twig. I didn't even know what color it was until this year. It smells sooo good.
Donm--I like those mini irises. And the twin daffodils. And the lilac. I guess that just about covers it all!
It was delightful to see all those lovely blooming plants. The dwarf irides are really a class unto themselves, aren't they. Yours look quite spiffy there. You did a great job with that lilac. It is lovely, isn't it.
Looks like spring finally visited Don! They are pretty. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for dwarf irises. I just battled getting some tall one's thinned out/removed.
