As I started mowing our vacant lot (about 1/2 acre buffer between us and the junky neighbors), I kept noticing all these pretty little weed flowers. So I stopped mowing and got the camera to capture their cute little faces. So I mowed some more. Then it hit me. If they're pretty enough to photograph, why should I mow them all down? It really looks pretty... even my "good brother" commented on it yesterday.
So... time to compromise. I mowed around half and left the rest alone for now.
Here's an overview of the field.

Mostly you can only see alot of these tall purple flowers. And the Spiderwort.

    And more....

And this one is just plain ugly... from a distance.

But the flowers, up close, were so pretty.

So... I decide to check out the pasture since it was covered in yellow.

And then some "regular old clover".

Last year I put some Spiderwort and Pink Shamrock in the old wheelbarrow.

And just the other day I "rescued" some Salvia Lyrata and also put a piece in the wheelbarrow. And some of this clover with yellow flowers.

So now the old wheelbarrow is now my WEEDbarrow!

    Thanks Michael.
I had planted some Begonias in there not long ago. I moved them in another pot just to make room for the weeds.
I think there's something wrong with me! :smt100
