I would think they are a species of Chrysanthemum and there are many of those In most you can not see the center and when you can it is fairly small compared to the petals. Daisies have a large center surrounded by large petals.
They had racks and racks of the purple ones... some looked half dead, but lots were pretty healthy. And that's the only yellow one I could find. Figured I couldn't go wrong for 99 cents! And just a side note... I found the plastic pots at home depot for only 75 cents! So, for less than $2 a piece... I have a couple more splashes of color!
