Mushroom time

    We had a great week a few days ago, it rained each day. The mushrooms are great now. Here are two new ones, with 140 odd imaegs, finding new ones is not so easy.

    Kildale, either it is your photography, or mushrooms have a hidden beauty that most of us are unaware of. Perhaps it is both! Thank you for showing us something we might overlook otherwise.
    (I swear, you could photograph an old hound dog and make him look like a Westminster dog show winner!)

    I love the texture on your first photo. It sort of pops out and I almost feel I can stroke it.

    The second photo sent my imagination to another planet. :D It looks like some beautiful alien life form. :D

    The first photo is rare around here. The guy that names them for me has a few hundred on his seen list and this was a first for him. He had to take his wife back to it to get a photo.
