The first peonies to bloom. West side lot is clear full of peonies because former owners owned a flower shop.

We had them remove a huge tree that was overtaking the deck and the house. I have great plans for this space.

The front yard garden has turned out nicely. Planted zebra mallow, yellow climbing roses, salvia, black-eyed Susans, daylilies, creeping phlox, pinks, and pansies in the planter.

Here are some pics of my 1st of the new gardens at my new house. I have 3 lots to garden on. I have died and gone to gardening heaven.

Everything is looking great. I love peonies, but they just don't do well here.

I think peonies are the Queen of Flowers. Just so beautiful. Looks like you have died and gone to gardening heaven there. 8)

I can hardly wait to hear what you're going to plant now the tree has gone. I love 'blank canvas' flower beds - they have soooo much potential. :-D Your garden is already looking good and the planter is very pretty. My peony roses are just starting to come ito bud now. I love their big, blousy flowers!!! :D

Peony is my favorite flower, so I agree with bethie...they are the queen of flowers! Can't wait to see what you do with that new empty space. Everything looks so nice and green there. I'm still waiting for spring here in Ontario.

    Everything looks great Lady.
I would like to have Peonies but they don't do well here either.
The Zebra mallow (aka French Hollyhock) is a prolific reseeder, you will have plants to cover the other three acres by this time next year :-D
