This is my anemone that I thought was never going to open. This morning the frost disappeared and the sun came out and this happened.

This is how it's been for weeks.

Isn't it amazing what a bit of sunshine can do? :-D

What a pleasant surprise that must have been Eils. How something so beautiful can become even more beautiful overnight is a wonder. Thanks for posting the series of photos.

Eileen, thanks so much for the touch of spring. We had sunshine yesterday and are having it again today, although the temps dropped into the freezing range. Nothing seems to have been hurt by it.

I think it turned out beautiful. It's a wonder you have any flowers left with all the gales you have been having. Dooley

What a series of beautiful shots. I just love that color. It is difficult to find true blue posies. It is indeed a harbinger of spring. And marvelously shot. Wow!

Around six weeks early anyway EJ. Nearly everything in the garden is coming to life much sooner than is normal. Even my wisteria and magnolia are getting new leaves!!
