We have been living in this house the last 4 years and the first spring we were here, we got lovely azalea blooming in all the 4 azalea plants we have.I had pruned the azaleas that fall. But the last 3 years, they have not bloomed at all. Any idea why? Or what I could do to make them bloom again?
    Thanks!

If you pruned them in the fall you probably cut off the flower buds for the next spring. Prune after spring flowering and then let the buds set for the following year.

I have to second Jerry's assessment. Fall pruning took your flower-set.

I will third that, same with camelias and rhodies. I guess a good ericaceous feed wouldn't hurt as they are acid loving shrubs.

The last time I pruned them was 3 years back. How long till the buds come back?

Oh, that paints the picture in a different light. You should have had flowers in the spring of the third year.

    First year- prune in fall.
year two- following spring no buds
year two- summer buds should have formed
    Year three- spring flowers

If this is another year later the problem is elsewhere. The common denominator with the four bushes is the pruning. My next question is how much did you prune? Also do you have any pictures?
