Danjensen, I am very jealous. I'm blessed to get a tomato the size of a baseball this summer. Yet I'm happy for every one. I'm happy for you too. ;>)

Oh, that is looking good. I planted my tomatoes for the contest in JULY   in the greenhouse. I hope they do something before the deadline is up....We will see. But it is for certain you have a very nice tomato there as it is!

A neighbor asked me to water her garden while she is away, and told me to pick any tomatoes that ripen. It rained, so I didn't have to water, but I still took the tomatoes. Just being a good neighbor. The ones that were turning needed to be picked too, or so it seemed to me. ;>)

    Biggest tomato

Having seen the pictures here of huge tomatoes, I am fairly certain I saw one this morning weighing about 2 pounds. Not in my patch. We went to the farm to pick a bushel for canning and I saw tomatoes larger than any I have ever seen. I was tempted to pick the largest one just so I could weigh it. I don't know the type, but it had sort of pinkish skin.
    Now I wish I had.

:D No Mart, I didn't, but we visit the farm often, so I plan to ask when next I go there.
