My black eyed susan vine

    I can't believe it!! I'm soooo excited my black eyed susan vine is blooming again for the first time in 3 years!!! Here's a pic.

    I love this vine!! I moved it into more shade this year, so maybe that was the trick!!

    Congrats Julie! I know the special feeling you must have gotten when you saw it in bloom again, like something had risen from the dead :D Thanks for sharing.

    Great to see your vine in flower Julie - it really does give you a tingle to see them flower when you're not expecting them to doesn't it?!! Thanks for sharing your Black Eyed Susan with us. :-D

    We grow those as annuals up here. But that was BEFORE we got a greenhouse! You've inspired me to try them again and then overwinter in the GH.

    Thanks everyone! Muddy I hope they overwinter nicely for you in the GH!! This vine will surely cheer you up when it does what it's supposed too!!!I'm glad my little vine could be inspiring!!!Certainly worth posting it for!!!

    Sharon I have acouple but they are not blooming as well as I would like we dont have a yellow though. Beautiful

    Great vine comeback! I grow these all over the place. If you have never grown this charming twining climber (say that 3x fast) plan to grow some next year. Mine reseed like crazy. They are easily grown in the GH. 8)
