Before I get to today's blooms, I just realized I didn't post the inside view of my Red & White Tulip with the others the other day. I can't have it feeling left out, now can I? :-D

The tulip looks great!! Interesting perspective. Question: do you get large berries from the Kiowa Blackberry plant? Do you make Jam?

Jerry... they are supposed to be very large.... at least an inch long and very plumb. I just got it a year ago. Had a few berries which were very good. Since this is it's second year, it's supposed to really produce. Hopefully there will be enough for jam... but I doubt it! The berries from last year didn't even make it to a bowl!

Cherylad your flowers are so pretty especially the Azaleas. They're just something i can never get to do right for me lol and I like the way shamrocks open and close their leaves depending on the time of the day... Also i had planted a raspberry vine before i moved off to college and on the first year i managed to get 4 or 5 coolwhip bowls full of berries. Only thing was that if i left them out in the open someone always came along and ate most of them lol and after i call my self pruning it back so it could start fresh, it never came back. Guess i'll try it again this year or some blackberries like yours. Do they taste like the wild blackberries that grow along side the road?

Thanks Brent. I got both of these Azaleas last year and they are only a bit bigger now. I'm thrilled that they survived the winter, and I sure hope they survive to get big and beautiful like some that I see around town. The few berries that I did get last year were much sweeter than the wild ones (which tend to be a bit tart).

Thanks DeepWoods. I'm really liking the shrimp plant. I still have it in a container to make sure it likes the spot I have picked out for it. I saw one over the weekend that was well established. Talk about neat looking!
