Honestly, I use my credit card all of the time. We use it for everything, inlcuding bills, and then settle up completely at the end of the month, then we get points and in turn, get a cash bonus just in time for Christmas every year. Works well for us and means we don't have any credit card debts. So, I use this card constantly.....and then, this week, just like that, I forgot my PIN number! How can that happen? I tried 3 times, was certain each time, and now I have been locked out. Spoke to the bank and they are going to send me a reminder but I can't believe I forgot it! I use the darn card so often it should be embedded in my brain! See, to much fresh air is washing my brain cells away!
That's just the kind of thing that happens to me too EJ. Thankfully it hasn't happened with my 'hole in the wall' pin number - yet. I know all my childrens 'phone numbers off by heart and yet the other week I couldn't for the life of me remember what my daughters number was!! In my case it's old age creeping up on me.
I have to admit I am just as bad I cant remember anything I need to but remember the silly things that there is no need to recall! Part of my memory troubles is the M.E the other part is just me being me
What a drama! You poor thing. What a shame that you don't have it written down somewhere in the house. I have had blocks like that before, I think almost everyone has. It's strange how well known things can just slip out of one's memory....strange and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoying. Fingers crossed that you bank can help you. Hopefully that reminder will arrive soon. Hang in there.
That's happened to me too EJ...I just blanked out and forgot my PIN number. Luckily I remembered before too long.
I call it CRS disease. I have a index card with my wife and kids birthdays, anniversaries, medications, phone numbers, and anything else I could remember to write down, and I keep it in my wallet. Yes I feel bad when someone ask me when my daughters, or my wife's birthday and I have to get my card out. But at least I can tell them. Yes my wife knows I have it
Been there too, EJ, but I never completed the third round of code entering. I just broke off and left. I can't remember important things either, but silly songs from years ago are stuck like glue.
It was foggy out this morning so I was driving with my lights on. Three times I stopped and got out and forgot to turn the lights off. I guess I'm not supposed to drive with lights on during the day and I can't see them when I stop so I forget they are on. I just left them off coming home. dooley
I have also been having more of what I call Senior Moments and now I'm forgetting how to spell. Is it Echinacea or Ekinechia? Help!
