Uh huh! just what I pictured when I bought a burgundy and a bi color dahlia off the clearance rack, packaged in the original packages. Maybe I was mistaking  Well for 96 cents I won't complain too loudly. This is just not what I was expecting.

Well, they are just stunning. I would love them no matter what color they are.

Wishing they were in my garden. :stew2:

Well that's the strangest looking burgandy I've ever seen BUT they are glorious. For under a dollar they were well worth the money no matter what colour they turned out to be. :-D

yes, I agree, the price was right. Not really complaining, just not what I expected. I do have them planted in a planter not in the ground. I did this just in case I had to move them into the greenhouse due to frost. So far it has gotten frosty out in the lawn but not up at the house and they have stayed beautiful right next to the door. They do fit right in with all the fall colors, though. the ones that are left anyway. As the Capt can tell you the fall colors here this year were rather DRAB due to all of the rain. At least, I would think they weren't any better at his house than here.

Well they most definitely are a lovely colour, but not the burgundy I was thinking of! Bright and cheerful though.
