bed 1 - my remaining gazania grrrrr was hoping for another year but after being slept on and the recent cold snap, they look a little worse for wear . . cat bed ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) this one is tucked away on the edge and has survived the sleeping i think. if i move the others its just gonna look like a freshly fluffed pillow to my tom!! survivor?? ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) bed 2 . . . . . . grrrrr bed 2 ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) on a good note . . . . wintered nigella ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) more nigella and coneflowers ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) . . . my over wintered nigella and coneflowers seem to have come through un-scathed. my coneflowers dont look very healthy though . . i've tried these on 2 other occasions and they usually reach the stage im at now ( 3 true leaves) and then just wither away :-|
Those darn cats! Sorry about the Gazanias. Isn't there still hope they'll spring back to life? What's the 2nd plant they slept in? Your nigellas look very healthy. I'm depending on my coneflowers to come back on their own. If not... guess I'll have to buy more and try harvesting the seeds. Good luck!
bed 2 is on top of black grass, he curls up on top of the pot??? the coneflowers may survive, they look ok at the minute . . . fingers crossed also :-D
The gazanias have lovely foliage and I like the bright flowers. Your starts look like they are really taking off.
