These are photos from last year. The white one is the one beginning to bloom now, the purple one blooms later in the season. I was given some seeds for red, yellow and purple clematis that I put in the same area as these 2. We'll see if they come up for me. I put the yellow seeds in last year and there is a young vine coming up but I dont know if its a baby from these or the yellow.

IF anyone knows for sure what varieties they are can you let me know?

Thanks for posting those photographs for me Wrennie. :stew1: I'm printing them off and taking them to garden centres to see if I can pick some up. If I find out their names I'll let you know.

That white one looks like the Clematis florida 'sieboldii'. I almost bought one this year.
The purply one, I don't know...there are so many purply ones.
The bottom line is that all of what you have shown are beautiful. Congrats on the success that you have had with them.

Gosh Wrennie...I forgot to say that that Seboldii against that dark red wood is a stunning presentation.

I'd love to say I planned it out well but that was just the best place to plant them. The colors working so well was just a bit of good luck.
