Paige is due to have her second child, Lucy, (my 8th grandchild) September 19th. Her husband William took some lovely maternity photos of her when she was pregnant with River, a couple of years back, and wanted to do the same with Lucy, so they came over to my house because of the abundance of green in my back yard. They recently built a house, and the yard and grass is not mature enough yet to give a pleasing backdrop.

He took some lovely photos. :stew1:

This is probably the only time River will be allowed to sit on his sister! ;)

They are beautiful. So wonderful that you will have them for years to come.

I really love the silhouette photograph of your daughter Paige. I think they should all be framed and hung on a wall Ronni as they are so beautiful. :-D

Eileen, I know just what you mean. I seriously want to frame every one of them! And there are more, too....he took over 100, and around 60 of them were just gorgeous! Don't you love digital cameras? ;)

I almost feel guilty because I have so many pictures of River around the house compared to the rest of my kids and grandkids, but that's only because I see him all the time. Four of my grandkids live in California, and though I visit them once or twice a year, I obviously don't have as many photo ops. And the other two grandkids live here, but I don't get to see them anywhere near as often as I do River.

Plus Paige and I are very close. She's my absolute best friend, and I'm very happy to say that she feels the same about me. She's a mini-me, in so many regards, and we've always pretty much been in each other's back pockets. That's just increased tenfold since she started having children.

I'm very, very blessed, that's for sure! :smt049

Ronni my daughter, Laura, and I are very close too. We're the best of friends and I see her nearly every week. Hardly a day goes by without us chatting on the 'phone. I don't know what I would do without her in my life. Aren't we two of the luckiest mums to have daughters like ours? :D

    Yeah Eileen we're pretty lucky!

I feel particularly blessed, because all 4 of Paige's older siblings are boys! She's my only girl which makes it even more special for me!
