Saturday afternoon I visited Adelman's Peony Paradise, Brooks Gardens and Seabright Hosta Gardens :-D What a wonderful day!!My mom and niece went with me and a good time was had by all :-D I thought I took more photos but I guess I was busy looking and sniffing all the peonies! Some of them are SO fragrant and SO expensive
This one is "Henry Bockstoce" and he is TALL with ginormous blooms, I bought him :p

I used great self control at the hosta gardens!! I bought 2 minis, Limey Lisa & Venusta and a small one named Blue Monday. I also picked up a small start of Krossa Regal since the last one didn't come back this year.

I bought the copper tub for $7 at GoodWill :) The hostas are Limey Lisa, Pandora's Box (the only mini that survived winter 2013) and Venusta.

I also picked up 2 beautiful hellebore plants for $4 each!! The weirdest purchase was a Euphorbia Ascot.
I wanted to take more photos but they'll have to wait, the camera pooped out on me :-?

Oh how I wish I could have been there with you. What a lovely set of photographs and how restrained you were in your buying. You seem to have got quite a few bargains too - especially the Hellebores at only $4 each. :-D
That was a really nice gesture giving away bunches of flowers to Grandmothers. I would have lied and claimed your niece was your daughter so that your mum could have got a bunch. I'm not dishonest as a rule but I do love flowers.
So glad you all enjoyed yourselves and I'll look forward to any more photographs you have to share with us.

Heaven! I'm not sure which I would have loved more ... the Peony's or Hosta's ... they are my 2 favorites! I don't know that I could have shown restraint! Can't wait to see more pictures :)

Oh my...I would have gone nuts at that place. I would have had to pack everything I picked up and sent it to myself, for it wouldn't have fit into the plane to get home.

I am very envious. So glad you had a good trip and shared it with us.

The prettiest flower of all is Gracie! What a wonderful day you had, and I admire your unbelievable restraint--most of us (all of us) would have gone nuts, and then bankrupt.
Looking forward to more flower pictures, both from your day trip and your garden.

What a great day you three had.
I don't have that much shade for Hostas but what I do have would have been packed full of plants after a trip there.
