So after I found those awesome deals yesterday I just had to make this project. I accidently came across fairy garden while searching for something else a few weeks ago online. And I've secretly been keeping a look out for where I could put one or what I wanted to use. I normally just wait for something to hit me. I say this a lot because that's just kinda how I do things. And yesterday it hit me!
In the backyard (hubbys area) there's a toddler sandbox table that Chelsea got for Christmas 2 years ago and hasn't used in awhile. And that's now going to be the fairy garden for the kids to play with. Its great cause that sandbox will get another round of use. So this is what I did.....

Its deeper on the bottom row so. That's where the bigger plants went. I like how it kinda slides down into the third level. I played with a lot of design ideas.

These little disney fairy dolls are the new tenants! :)

And these are the plants I used to start with.

And here's what I've done so far. The kids already have been playing in it. I plan on adding more. But here where I'm at.

So I seen a few little birdhouses for a dollar at Michaels that the kids can paint and id like to maybe put more stones around the pond and a couple stepping stones going down the path and maybe a mini succulent. I will post pics when done. :) What do you think?

That sand box is the ideal thing for your fairy garden. It's already looking good and I can hardly wait to see it finished. Can I come to your house to play?

Thank you everyone for nice comments.
Eileen if you come over I will play fairies with you :) I call the blue one. Hehe
Donna if Maddie is a little girl then go for it. She will have fun playing in it. My 2(almost 3) year old likes putting the little dolls in the pond. :) And my Maddie ( 8 ) thinks its funny if the fairies fall and get dirt on there face. Whatever floats her boat. Haha.

I can see the 2nd one from the left on the top shelf painted in bright colors like a beach house... and maybe even put up on stilts? Hey... this is fun... even if it is YOUR project. :D
