I saw this on Facebook and just had to give it a try. So I ordered a variety of cookie-cutters and went to the hobby store. Suncatcher ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) now you can see each piece clearer ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) They are made with plastic craft beads (not the metallic ones). Just put them on a cake pan or cookie sheet, fill with beads, pop them in the oven for about 20-30 minutes. Run under cool water and they pop right out.
That came out really cute!!! I have an assortment of plastic beads laying around, guess I need to remember this for one of the hot summer days when I can't go outside. Thanks for the idea.
Use the translucent one's. I used some of the "solid" one's for the outline. It kinda stinks while they are melting, so you'll have to open the window. Probably not the best craft on a hot Texas day.
Yeah, forgot about opening the doors for the fragrance. I will wait until the first frosty day of winter when the doors and windows are open anyway.
