My first (ever) Cucumber harvested

    First time ever I grew cucumbers this year and plucked the first one yesterday. I am so happy. YAY :)

    Bet you are sooo proud. It is really cool to grow food in your backyard. I love to do it. Next year I am putting in a whole garden for my chickens. LOL

    Now that you have picked the first one,, remember to check it daily. They hide from you. They can get behind a leaf and next time you see it,,it will be huge and yellow. Over ripe and bitter.

    6 cucumbers harvested so far this year. Brought in 3 today. So happy! YAY!!
