My First ripe tomato two years in a row. The Tomato Chello. This cheery, bright yellow cherry tomato has a super-sweet flavor that is superior to other yellow varieties. It was so tasty. I don't buy tomatoes from the grocery store, so it has been a while since I have had a tomato. mmmmm.... The compact vines are terrific for container growing. Just right for salads or eating straight from your hand. Also used in soups, hot dishes and sauces. It produces high yields on determinate plants. 56 days to maturity.

Drool, drool! I think I'll have to try a Chello next season--I can't believe you have a ripe tomato already!
That's a nice puppy in the background--does he/she like tomatoes too? We had a dog that would eat any amount of cherry tomatoes you gave him, but luckily, he didn't like to pick them himself.

Heck I've only just seen the first of my tomato seeds sprouting!! It's going to be a long while yet before I can pick my first fruit.
Yellow tomatoes are a real favourite of mine. I hope you enjoy that first bite into yours. :-D

Yeah, my dog does eat them right off the vine. I keep him out with chicken wire, but I do give him some every now an then. I started my seeds inside just before Christmas and planted them in the garden the first week of February.

Wow! I started my seeds the 10th of January, and put them out about the 1st of April (does that make me an April's Fool?). We have blooms but no baby tomatoes. I may have to take a trip down to San Antonio and steal a few ripe ones!
Glad yours are doing so well.
