Today is supposed to be the hottest day of summer so far so I got out early and made sure everyone had something to drink I had given this rose up for dead :'( My friend Tamie told me to give it time. Sure glad I did! Red Eden rose ( photo / image / picture from stratsmom's Garden ) This is the beginning of my hosta collection :-o I ordered the fragrant dream from Hostas Direct and the Wide Brim from Gilbert Wild. Wide Brim & Fragrant Dream ( photo / image / picture from stratsmom's Garden ) This geranium just thrives in this spot! Every year I dig it up and take a pot or two to my office to overwinter. Old Geranium ( photo / image / picture from stratsmom's Garden ) I need to thin these little day lilies out. I don't know what they are but I have posted an ad on our local "want ads web site" to trade them for hostas~ no bites yet ( photo / image / picture from stratsmom's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from stratsmom's Garden )
Your blooms look great! I had a Rose that I thought was dead this spring and waited. It came back to life, but not as good as yours. Fantastic! It is very hot here today too.
Hi Deanna, you were lucky not to have given up on that rose bush,..its looking healthy now,..a cutting from that would stand a good chance of rooting,..its a survivor. I wish i could have Hostas,..alas when the Hedgehogs hibernate slugs go on the rampage and they love Hostas,..i like your Geraniums they look in peak condition,..i love the scent of Geraniums. Yep you sure have a close bunch of Day Lilies,..very attractive against the green i hope someone answers your advertisement.
