I have fruit trees in my own garden but nothing as exotic as yours Barb. With the amount of blossom I see in your photographs you should get plenty of luscious fruit later in the season.

Barb, I hope you get a bounteous harvest. We had peach trees, but the frost got them every year So I finally gave up on them, but a neighbor 1 road over almost exactly behind us gets a beautiful crop. I think it is because he up on the hill and I am at the bottom of it. Eat one for me ;)

'Nice and warm' is the problem, since it is nice and warm the year around; peaches require some hours of freezing temperatures for a dormancy period.. Some entities have been working on hybridization with some success for several years to produce a cultivar that doesn't require the freezing temps... Just an F.Y.I. (for your info) note.. Hank

I do not really know why but as far as I know nobody grow peaches, something to do with the weather even though it is nice , warm and very hot here! I think they have some kind of chilling requirement. OK I'll give it a try the next time when we had peaches or plums from the supermart. :D
