Hello from the Inland Empire in So Cal!! Gardenia's are my favorite flower so I was thrilled when we moved into a new home that had a large bush in the front yard. Unfortunately, the flowers have absolutely no smell whatsoever. Has anyone ever heard of this? I've searched the internet to no avail. There are lots of beautiful blooms and the plant looks very healthy. It's just missing that wonderful sweet scent!
Any idea of what kind you have? I use to think all gardenias had a scent but found out a couple years ago that some don't.
