    Ahhh a new GardenStew member in the making. :-D I hope your little grandson will keep helping you out and, as he grows, that his interest in gardening grows with him.

    I LOVE when I can share what I'm doing with the grandkids. I get to spend time with them and still get to accomplish things, and they are learning while they "help." Their minds are like little sponges, and I have no doubt that the next time River is out in the garden with me, he will do something (or several somethings) that tell me he remembered from the last time....whether it's shoveling the amended soil mix from the blue container into the hole I dug, or holding the hose for me while I water, or even something as simple as which tool he can use when he's helping me dig.
