My Glass Gardening......

I also like to stretch my love of flowers into my glass beads....I thought some of you might enjoy seeing these:

I also make cats and many other styles.... :-D

They are made with glass rods and a lampworking torch.

 

Those are wonderful, we have another talented lady here, Bethie that does glass beads.

That's some seriously beautiful beadwork, just breathtaking! I've seen lots of work by beadmakers but never anything like that (and the polar bear is just squealingly cute!!!)

It took quite a bit of practice to get my hands that steady! As for the eyes, well sometimes I get a headache if I work too long. I sell most of my beads through ebay, believe it or not! I have four young kids so right now that is the easiest way, but someday I hope to do some shows!

 

WoW! All these are just great but being a gardener I love the Flowers. Hubby and I won't get out the torch until Fall but I'm pretty sure some of Your Designs will show up at MY house. Show your work at your own risk!!! :-D
