Our 8 year old Granddaughter stayed with us the other weekend. Her name is Katie and she loves to play with our dogs. Shadow the yellow lab loves the water. She would get wet all the time if we let her...Katie would fill the ball with water and squirt it up in the air or in Shadows face. Shadow would jump to get at the water and was having a great time. Look closely and you can see the stream of water... Now doesn't this look like one HAPPY dog? Scooter, our Cairn terrier wasn't left out either.... Both dogs were so tired after playing with Katie for 2 days...she is such a sweet young lady and a pleasure to have around..
Katie and Shadow look as though they're both having a whale of a time with that water. Strangely enough our Blue was the same until it came to bath time that is. Then he'd go like a big lump of jelly and it was nigh on impossible to get him into the bath. I love the shot of little Scooter and Katie together - neither wonder they were all tired out. :-D
It does look like they all had fun !! Our niece was here this weekend and our golden retriever, Briggs is exhausted :-D She walked him, brushed him, threw the ball, fed him treats... He is napping now I should be honest and tell you all that I took a nap too!
What beautiful granddaughter you have Katie gets Shadow really into it doesn't she ? Scooter is so cute.I know they were so much fun.I'm sure they were worn out.
I love photos of children and dogs playing. Your dogs must have had a lovely time, and Katie sounds like an adorable child. Shadow has the sweetest smile.
Katie and shadow look like their having sooo much fun. shadow really likes catching the water, you really can see a smile on her face. I could emagine both dogs being tired by the end of the nite. Thanks for sharing.
