My Granddaughter fell and broke an area by her elbow. Right by the growth plate. Her Mom took her to the emergency room because the doctors office was too busy. She was the one that is 8 years old and loves to play with my dogs, her name is Katie...Her Mom has to call the specialist today because they were not in when she got home yesterday afternoon. I will let you know what happens after she can get in to the specialist...she does have a temporary cast on for now. She was playing in the camper with a friend and fell from the top bunk area.

The elbow area is not a good place to break. :setf_048: I hope she is not in too much pain. Extra special prayers go up for her, Sherry. :smt059

Sorry to hear about fall. Hope she is feeling okay and not hurting too much by now.

My oldest grandson fell and broke his arm about an inch above the elbow when he was 7. It is a tricky spot to heal but his did just fine and now at almost 13 he has pretty much full range of motion. He decided to stand on a bag of volleyballs while sharpening his pencil in school one day.

Ouch! I had a habit of doing that when I was a kid. I think my folks thought I'd do it every year. I broke my arm three times. dooley
