I had seen this giant geometry set at a shop 2 years ago, just before the pandemic hit. I was about to buy it, but didn't - As I thought that I could make one for myself in better quality.

Then came the pandemic, along with the lockdowns... And now I really wished that I had bought this construction aid - As I started making a lot of things in my house.

Fast-forward to now, and so today as I was passing in front of that same stationary shop - I asked if they still had that giant geometry set? I didn't see it on display anymore, so I assumed that it must have been sold long ago... But guess what? They still had that exact same piece!

Shop owner looked happy, as he no doubt wanted to get rid of it. But because of it's huge size, nobody probably wanted it, (I could read the regret on his face, of keeping such an item in his shop). Therefore I did a little bargaining, and bought it at almost half the price it was originally on sale for 2 years ago!

I am already excited about what new things I will now build in my house using this, (keychain in all the pictures is there only as a reference for size) - Let's now make something big!!!

    :D

Congratulations on your new tools. I want to see photos of the results of whatever you'll use it to construct.

That's great that you got it cheaper than it was.

Yes, @mart is close, as it's a structure I am making out of PVC. But no, nothing related to gardening - So not exactly a greenhouse.

Congratulations on such a great purchase - hugely rewarding that it was still there and you were able to negotiate the price. :like: I can feel the excitement all of the way over here. Could it be an awning of sorts, like a cover to sit under? Curious to see the final completion photos. :)

You and Mart are both very close... :D

It's still not complete. But when it will be, I'll upload pictures so everybody can see.
