WOW!! Now that you've painted them up they look even more professional. I would be honoured to have any one of those in my garden. They really are sooo much nicer than any I've seen in the shops over here.

Wow! You have been busy! What are your plans for so many? That's a lot of bird homes. There are going to be some very happy feathered friends this spring.

Very nice looking, Donna. You did a smashing job with those. They look nice for bird and people alike.
I like the one with the twining vines best of all. Such well-made houses, those.

My, they're beautiful! :stew2: I liked the grey one best. They would make perfect gifts for other bird lovers.

Donna... I thought of your cute birdhouses yesterday while I was at a gathering. Some local school kids had birdhouses for sale for $5. Naturally I had to buy one. I didn't look really close, just picked an orange one (my fav color)with some black or blue haphazardly sprayed here and there. Most had rectangle holes, so I got the only with a round hole... a small round hole. I thought, I can always make the hole a bit bigger. Then when I got home and took a closer look... poor thing is really sad looking. There's a hook & latch at the bottom that doesn't do anything. Were they just too lazy or in a hurry to remove it from the old wood? :headscratch: I'm sure I'll give it a new paint job and will have to add some hooks so I can hang it properly. I'm just hoping these were elementary or middle school kids and not high schoolers.
Oh well... at least the kids are trying, right?
They could use some tips from you, for sure. :stew2:
