I don't know what kind of plant that is in it it looks like hen and chicks but is purple

 

Nice thought-up. I think your plant's a Sedum of some sort.

 

thanks all yes it is fun to use your brain to figure out stuff and ty for telling me that is a sedum had no idea as it looked dead when I bought it and now it is coming back
