My Mother's Day plant

    I though I would show the plant and see if anyone has one and if so how do you care for it.


    Its name is Ornithogalum Dubium (Orange Star)

    My, it's beautiful! Congratulations, glendann. We can't have those outside because of the cold, but I wish we could.

    It's beautiful, but I have no idea what your plant needs. I've never seen it before. Someone will come up with your info. Enjoy it!

    Glenda I found a little bit of information about your plant but not much I'm afraid.

    "Sunstars prefer to live in a well lit location that's just shy of full sun. Check or water every couple of days until you become familiar with your plant's needs. The soil should be moist at all times. If you would like to transplant your Sunstar into the garden or an outdoor container, choose a spot that gets bright, morning light. Let the top of the soil dry out between waterings and be sure to use a soil that includes some organic matter."

    What an absolutely stunning plant. I have never heard of that one, but it is a beaut.
