My Name is Sherry and I am a plant addict...I posted this on a couple sites and I did have a lot of people reply..

Ok...everyone who else here cannot stop from buying new plants or expanding your gardens...I see something new and I have to have it.

We went to a Garden Fair at the Botanical Gardens in Green Bay and I purchased all of these...My husband told me I better slow down because not much more would fit in the backseat of the truck. Too far from home to put them in the open back of the truck, I put those little pyramids in the back there..Too heavy to blow out...

I also bought a cardinal flower, it was really small but looked very healthy.. :-D :-D :-D

The white flower is a fan flower...for in hanging baskets. The two little plants with balls on top are allium, karatayiense

Can you help me identify the small plant in the watering can. It is not a viola..

I can relate to that! :D We usually come home with plants sticking out of every window, and hardly have space for ourselves. I'm not even going to mention the trunk.

Congratulations on your new lovelies, I hope they will bring you lots of pleasure.

:D Ha ha ha...then you are my kind of person. Postings like this are comforting. It's so good to know that there are more folks oput there with this same sort of illness. chuckle.
I know that there are several others on here with the exact same symptoms. I gusess that's why I feel so at home here. :D
Frank... the only help that she can get is at the garden center--you KNOW that. :D ROARRR!

Anyway...this is a great selection that you came home with. Did anyone stop and look when all those beauties were all stalled-out on your driveway?
I hope that you will send more pics when they are all situated at their permanent locations.

    Way to go, Sherry.

Looks like quite a haul. We planned to go to the gardens too, but ended up working around the house instead. I heard the turnout was poor this year due to the cold, wet weather over the weekend. Sometimes that's the best time to be out plant shopping!!! We need some heat here in northern Wisconsin (I've got a fire going in the fireplace today, latest ever).

Could the plant in the watering can be Torenia?
I have the same addiction as you do Sherry. Again today I found myself in a garden center in line to pay for a lovely Jasmine :D

Sherry I am proud to call you my friend ;) You see, I have this same addiction. Mine is so bad that I have snapped the seed head off of a columbine while in the garden center!!! (confession is good for the soul) :D I have a VERY hard time passing up plants.
The way I look at it is this, I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't gamble or run around so what's a few plants? The only problem is I am running out of room. Sometimes my husband gets a little cranky if I want to plant a tree or shrub that interferes with his mowing routine. It looks like you had a great time and brought home some gorgeous flowers. You go girl!

I mostly planted annual's this year and vegetables. My energy level is low and I'm having allergy problems so a halt was called on planting for a while. Maybe more in the fall. dooley
