Last year, a friend gave me one fan of Iris saying someone gave it to her but she is not a gardener. So my friend gave it to me. Today the Iris opened and to my surprise, it was blue with white speckles. I'm in love Does anyone know the name of it? I think your gorgeous iris may be a 'Purple Streaker' Chelsea. I wouldn't mind someone giving me a pressie like that!! :-D
Wow! Thank you for your quick reply, Eileen I sure wish I had more of them. There are some solid dark blue ones in containers behind the streaker to keep it company. In a few days, I have another Iris about to bloom and will need the name of that one too if you don't mind.
I don't mind at all as I love iris and never tire of looking at them - so post as many piccies as you like. :-D
