    I bought the table yesterday from an estate sale. It belonged to a man who was killed in a car accident and the family was trying to raise money for the funeral cost. They said flowers was his passion and I just could not stand to see this nice hand made table left behind.

    A potting table with character is hard to find. Your plants will appreciate starting out life potted on your bench, like being born in a famous hospital. Don't forget to chain it down to a very heavy concrete block and tie the pit bulls to it each night. :)

    Granddaddy, I have cedar posts, I have some old barn lumber, I have a husband who can build most anything, and I'm going to have a potting bench! I thank you for posting a picture of your wonderful find (my husband, however, is less grateful :rolleyes: ).

    That table has such character. It could be used for variety of things, but since the man loved gardening, I think he would be proud that it will continue to be used as a potting stand. Very nice.
