That's a lovely plant to get as a gift!! So much better than chocolate as it will last far longer and won't allow you to put on any weight.
Definitely a good choice for the season. It likes acid soil and Oak trees if you have some. Does well in shade but likes to flower if exposed to some sun during the day. Jerry
