I received a wintergreen plant from my brother and SIL for Christmas. I researched its needs and discovered it does not like clay soil. I decided I would plant it in a container and keep the container in the shade.

That's a lovely plant to get as a gift!! So much better than chocolate as it will last far longer and won't allow you to put on any weight. ;)

Definitely a good choice for the season. It likes acid soil and Oak trees if you have some. Does well in shade but likes to flower if exposed to some sun during the day.
