We have loads of frogs in our pond laying down spawn. I counted 49 but there were many more that I couldn't see under the water. They croak constantly - day and night. Neither wonder they sound so hoarse. Have your little beauties started to lay eggs yet?
It's good to see your frogs. It will be a while yet before they come out here. It looks like everything is on schedule in your pond.
Thanks everyone ...Trying to get a photo is something else here. I was on the 4 wheeler and noticed they were up .. Got the camera.. They go back in if I get closer. eileen get the camera out an record.. I dont have time to count them, they disappear. Dont know if they were laying eggs, was not that close ....... Just for fun.
I love the sound of frogs! We have little green tree frogs here and the sound of them chirping away in the garden is so peaceful in the evenings. Not far from me a... unique landowner built his own pond and stocked it with decidedly-nonnative bull frogs, took me forever to find out what the weird noise was, lol!
Aw how cute the frogs you have. It is much too dry out here for frogs and I only once had frogs in my garden (when I bought my lawn - years ago) THanks for posting them I am enjoyng it tremendously. :-D
