Here's a film showing one of the very talented girls at the stables riding five different horses at our club do last week-end. The very first horse in the film is my own Truls. I hope you find time to look at him. *proud mommy*

This is the 70 cm class. I'm sorry she didn't show the 80 cm class, because he ran and jumped like a hero then.

Very handsome horse, you should be proud. The horses shown in the video appear to be a little shorter and stockier than the horses I am use to seeing. I have been to a few competitions locally when my friends daughter competes.

Thanks for liking Truls, Gail. :D They're all ponies bar the black and white cross-breed of unknown lineage. The big, sleek horses came on later.

Gosh that took me right back to my riding days Droopy. I thoroughly enjoyed the video but wished it was me riding those five ponies. Truls is a good looking fellow and certainly seemed to enjoy going over those jumps.

Truls is a handsome fella, isn't he! Sunshine reminds me of a Palomino Pony named Buttercup that I rode when I was a young girl. Thanks for sharing that Droopy :)

Ahhh...that was a really nice video, Droopy. That Truls looked like a real champ that day. If he did even better on the 80cm jumps, that would have been delightful to see.

Well, no matter--the pride is streaming off you. Well deserved too. How often are there such 'do's' there during the course of a year?

BTW--does "Truls" have a meaning, or is just a name?

Thanks for that Droopy, I enjoyed it totally. Truls is a beautiful boy and did a great job at the jumps. The rider looks beautiful too. Droopy, who trains the ponies? They all looked so good.

Thanks for liking Truls. :D And the rest of them of course. They're all trained by their respective owners. The girl who rides them owns Lasso and Sunshine. Maksimus, the Norwegian Fjord horse, is used for training handicapped and for driving too. Ohio is used for riding and driving. He's a gentle chap.

Truls is just a name, Sjoerd. He's Danish but I'm ever so glad he moved up here. :D

Thank you, thank you. *bows deeply* I'm ever so fond of that furry critter I must admit. :D

Did I mention that he won the 70 cm class and came third in the 80 cm class?

Thank you. :stew2: Truls is a boy, Glenda. :D I train him myself on the ground, and my young minder jumps him. She rides for the mother of the girl in the film, who's very good at instructing jumpers. We've got good instructors at our little provincial stable. :D
