$3.00 bought 12 pansys, palm, dracaena, muti color plant ?? ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden )
Wow, your garden center had some great sales. That fourth plant mentioned (if you are going to order from right to left) looks Dracaena fragrans (Corn Plant) from this angle. There is also a Hosta with those colorings, but yours looks like it has one main stem and leaves growing off of it.
Next time I drive through Virginia I'll have to pick up some plants. Super bargain!! Spring is starting! Jerry
Gracious, the green gods were smiling on you today, Donna! Those are great plants, and all for $3! I bet they look even better after you've cared for them a while.
close ups Happy transplants tag says dracaena lemon surprise ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden ) Please name me. There were 3 plants in this pot ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden ) Happier pansys ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden )
Your lemon surprise is the same Genus as the Corn Plant but is a cultivar of the Genus whereas the Corn Plant is a species of that Genus. If you would suggest this plant for our data base it would be entered as Dracaena 'Lemon Surprise' Thanks. Yep, the second one is a Croton and probably Codiaeum variegatum (Croton) It just needs TLC to look it's best.
