snake gourds ( photo / image / picture from donna in nc's Garden ) they are starting to vine so going to have to get them a support system done tomorrow can't wait to see what the gourds look like I hope they look like they did on the pkg.
Looking good. What are you going to make out of them? I raised them one year. I left mine on the ground. I made several rain sticks. I noticed the walls of the snake gourds are thinner than the other gourds I've raised. I planted a few gourds this year, too. A few apple, banana, Tennessee spinning, and birdhouse gourds. Mine are vining all over my garden. Don
don is it ok to let them run on the ground will they not rot? I plan to paint them as snakes for the grandsons for christmas I would like to have some apple and banana seeds for next year will have to look for them at the stores
