Yup, like Eileen, the snow came to Essex also. We had 9 inches fall in some places, and the north wind blew hard so the drifts were very deep against buildings. Of course, the children loved it. We still have plenty on the ground, and apparently tomorrow is going to be snowy, but we will see. A white Christmas maybe?? Looks just like here!! We got caught in a blizzard around 2.30pm this afternoon and before we knew it we were stuck in a long line of traffic, going nowhere. Some drivers were just too scared to move which caused terrible hold-ups. We've only just got home.
That looks really pretty, EJ. I wonder how much you (and we) will get in the end. I have heard that the temps may get above freezing tomorrow.
It looks like you have more snow than we have here EJ! It sure looks pretty there, so you can keep it
Your kids look like they are having fun -- love your daughter's hat. Pretty snowy pics.... We got 20 inches over the past 24 hours. I'll put a picture on later.
We had another light dusting overnight, just enough to recover the cars and fill in all the holes. Very cold again today, I don't think it got much over freezing so the roads are still dangerous. The cold put an end to my car battery, so that had to be replaced today. Us Essex folk aren't used to this nippy weather!
Thanks for sharing those pics. The trees look so lovely with their limbs laden with snow.(Tongue twister?) We received almost 12 inches of snow and I am enjoying the "winter wonderland."
